Filippo, twentyfive years of experience in the prevention and mitigation of natural risks, is Partner of I.A.T. Ingegneria per l’Ambiente ed il Territorio Srl in Rome. He leads and manages projects and works in the field of environmental, structural and geotechnical monitoring. Filippo has been/is responsible for projects related to natural disaster management, tunneling, oil & gas, mining, landfills, dams, infrastructures and landslides in about 10 countries worldwide and 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Outstanding works: Archaeological Parks of Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Ostia Antica and Pompeii; Churches of San Francesco di Assisi, Cefalù, Orvieto, Marmorkirken in Copenaghen, Anime Sante in L’Aquila, Sant’Ivo – Sapienza in Rome; High Speed Railway Lines Milan-Naples-Bari and BBT-Brenner Base Tunnel, Metropolitan Lines A and C of Rome, A1 Motorway Milan-Naples; Isola delle Rose in Venice;  Main commercial ports and off-shore oil platforms in the Mediterranean Sea; Tempa Rossa Oil Field Project; Scuderia Ferrari Headquarter and Factory. He is an expert consultant in European Projects, PON and PPP. He collaborates with University Departments, Research Centres, Public Administrations and Industrial Groups by developing activities and researches. Since 2012 he is Coordinator and Lecturer of Geotechnical-Structural Monitoring Course of the II Level Master in Geotechnical Design at Sapienza University of Rome. In the field of geoengineering, he is author and co-author of over thirty technical and scientific papers. He has been/is editor and reviewer of several proceedings books and publications (ISPRA Guidelines and Reports, AGI Suggested Methods, FMGM, SIG, etc.). He has been involved in dozens of conferences as coordinator, convener and speaker and is member of many technical and scientific committees. He has organized and co-organized hundreds of national and international conferences and courses. He has participated and/or coordinated many international working meetings related to natural hazards with foreign, academic, private and governmental delegates.
