Giulio Proietti Bocchini, Art Historian, Specialist in Historic-Artistic Heritage, was born in Foligno and lives in Spello. He graduated in Literature (1996) with a historical-artistic address at the University of Perugia, in 2008 he achieve a master’s degree in History of Art and in 2013 he concluded with honors the School of Specialization in Historical-Artistic Heritage at the University of Studies in Macerata under the guidance of Prof. Stefano Della Torre. Master in Commercial Marketing, Tourism and Cultural Services (1997). Environmental Management Systems Technician for EC Reg. Emas1 (2003) and in 2007 as Internal Auditor for Environmental Management Systems. He is Head of Environmental Management Systems for Reg. CE Emas1-2 and Iso 14001 from 2004 to 2009.
The University of Perugia recognises him the title of expert on the subject in History of Medieval Art (2006), in Diagnostics and Restoration Design (2009) and in 2017 in History of archaeological and historical-artistic restoration. He publishes essays on the history of Umbrian and Italian art between the XIVth and XVIth centuries and on the suppressed public and ecclesiastical heritageCurator of the Civic Art Gallery of Spello and responsible for the Terre & Musei dell’Umbria network (2013-2017). Employee of the Municipality of Spello as head of the Culture and Cultural Heritage office until 31/12/2017.From 2018 at the Municipality of Assisi as a high professionalism he has been involved in promotion and enhancement of the tourism system and cultural heritage. Since 2019 he is Head of the Tourism Office, UN Unesco, United Nations Support and Management and Enhancement of Cultural and Artistic Heritage and he is coordinator of the tourism promotion plan and directs the city museum system.
